OPPORTUNITY LOST!

HE - I, who know how beautiful you are,
Drowned in your beautiful eyes, forever.
In a moment, you came
And then went from my life,
Winning my heart with a passing smile.

Now I, I live in agony.
Wondering forever,
If you ever even knew.
And, if you knew, did that moment
Mean anything at all to you.

For you, the moment passed.
For me, it never has.
It never can.
That moment is all that I have - and am.
And I regret forever this opportunity - lost.

SHE- I, who worshiped you from afar, for so long,
Tried to tell you so that one, all important,
Risk it all for me, time.
I looked into your beautiful eyes and I smiled,
And with that, offered you all that I have - and am.

And you just stood there.
For you, the moment passed.
But for me, it never has, it never can.
I have loved you long before it
And in every moment since.

Now I, I live in agony.
And wonder forever, if you ever even knew.
And, if you knew, did that moment mean
Anything at all to you.
I shall forever regret this opportunity - lost.
