Cold water of white, melted snow That trickles down mountains. Rivulets that joins some others And begins a great trip Where little seeds await a drink To start life as flowers. This is my first try at a Modern Sijo a form of Korean poetry. No title is required of this poem, but if I had to give one I would call it “Cold Water.” Please look at entry #627373 from kansaspoet for more information on this and The Traditional and the Modern Sijo.
