Jesse my son.
Jesse, Oh Jesse, how handsome you've grown, l thank God that he gave you to me on loan, Your the child l dearly wanted to keep, You gave me much joy, you were so sweet, l felt you spin, roll, kick and bump, l patted your head and you'd sometimes jump, l sang you songs and read stories from books, Some people would give me unusually strange looks, Oh l remember when you came along, You entered my life and l felt so strong, You gave me purpose, you gave me love, My life was worth living with a gift from above, l held you so gently and cried with great joy, So thankful to God for giving me a boy, Pain faded fast then disappeared, l had no more worries and nothing to fear, l love you Jesse, l find it hard to explain, You gave me so much that l can't ever repay, You are so precious, l want you to see, I'll never stop loving you, it's impossible for me.
