New Horizons Academy is an educational institution dedicated to  providing courses for writers. If you want to learn more about the various aspects of writing and strengthen your skills in the craft, please consider joining us. Our knowledgeable volunteer instructors are eager to share their expertise and are looking forward to learning from you as well. Most of our classes are designed for the college level student.

Scholarship funds are available for those in need of gift points to cover the tuition costs.

New Horizons Academy believes learning is infinite.
We endeavor to help our students grow in the craft of writing and guide them toward their personal path of success.

The History of New Horizons Academy

The concept for The New Horizons Writing Academy was inspired by Scott Kuttner (Bronxbishop) and Sariah- ♡.you Lyle Together they envisioned a learning environment for all writers and every skill level.  They created an atmosphere representative of the patience and instruction offered to them by other members on WDC. Mr. Bishop and Ms. Sariah had to step down as leaders of the academy due to health issues, but it continues on changing its name to New Horizons Academy in 2011 under the leadership of Karen , Boos girl , and Rixfarmgirl .
As of July 12, 2011, leadership for New Horizons was Karen and Rixfarmgirl .  On September 11, 2011, Assistant Administrator Rixfarmgirl passed away suddenly.  She is greatly missed.
