Life is filled with all these questions-
answers, nobody knows.
Like can I find divine redemption,
for the path that I chose?
These are questions of reflections that I have everyday.
As I lay through life's last moments watching time fade away.
I've been the kind to think that money is my life's only blessin',
And see the lust of fame and power as my life's only mission.
I want to lay around and dream a life of only perfection.
Where the summer never settles, and loss isn't mentioned.
Where I'm screaming down the highway in a Mercedes Benz;
Plan safari's- river rafting with my ten closest friends.
I'd have a hundred million dollars, just enough to make ends.
Show my family that I love them for the love they put in.
And I can see a lady swaying, waving in white sands,
with a flower in her hair, holding pearls in each hand.
We get exotic with our parties, go to far away lands.
Show her a life she never dreamed of, living well with her man.
And then I'd lay and let my gaze pierce the new morning sky.
And we'd never have to wonder about the day we might die.
Then I wake and shake in wonder, rising up with a start,
To the chill inside my prison cell,
alone in the dark.
