Reinvent
I call this form the "hai-five" because it consists of five haiku, strung together.

Futile eforts close at hand--
work already  done.

Work already done.
Panning gold already found.
No accomplishment.

No accomplishment:
hopeless energy, now spent
on a wasted task.

On a wasted task
chosen to make good progress
in these changing times.

In these changing times
old things do not serve as well:
reinvent the wheel!
