Fair Weather Friends I could take a chance and bet all my dough, The Dow would come back and stocks would go up. A belief in me would help make it so, I'm an optimist, always a full cup. If it should waver and go the wrong way, I'm not discouraged, I just make a wish, Wait a while longer for a better day, Find a distraction like going to fish. But if it goes up, then I'm in clover. Affection for all is my mantra then, Happy times are here; sad times are over. My worst enemy will become my friend. But if I should lose, they'll show me the door. The sum of my friends will not total four. 14 lines a sonnet
