Just like a diamond

I have different facets

different parts of me

unique faults and assets

I fragmented myself

to deal and cope

so I could shut things away

and have some kind of hope

there are parts that are happy

and parts that are sad

some that are good

and some wickedly bad

but they're all parts of me

just different facets

of the diamond that I am

and they are all assets
