A poem about repeating

I’ve been here before
looking into your eyes
feeling your body pressed to mine.

I’ve been here before
your mouth hungry for me
your kisses burning me with desire.

I’ve been here before
the rush of passion found in your embrace
the deep need pushing to the surface.

I’ve been here before
needing to feel you deep inside me
wanting to keep you there forever.

I’ve been here before
my heart belonging to you
my soul longing to be with you again.

I’ve been here before
not knowing where I stand
wondering if this is all real.

I’ve been here before
dying to see you again
missing you so deeply it hurts.

I’ve been here before
unable to focus on anything
being haunted by thoughts of you.

I’ve been here before
wanting so much more
being terrified to ask.

I’ve been here before
drowning in all that is you
not understanding how you do this to me.

I’ve been here before
now you’re here again…..
