When light of day goes waning in the west,
It saves until the last its very best. While down upon the ground, a painful sight As light rebounds at least ten times as bright Reflecting from a million glassy shards, The light jumps up and then eyesight retards. While rising shine bedazzles, I see spots. The fading glow resigns as daylight rots.
