People My Age. . .
How I feel about my peers in so-called "love."

Too many people my age
these days, seem to think
that they have knowledge
of love and life and such.
They think far too much
that you must love
someone at this age.

No one my age knows
what love truly is.
We give examples and though
those work, only ones older
and who have a lover
know love's definition,
only they know.

I feel that to me,
love is simply this:
when you live so free,
so in peace you can give
and take and never not live,
nor forgive nor hate,
love, to me, is to be free.
