Surrender To Your Grace

As I stare grief in the face
With tears falling like rain,
I surrender to God's Grace,
Trusting Him who remains the same.

Arising to the morning alone
When once we shared the days
I realize those times are gone
I must now change my ways.

Search for something to do
Find a new source of delights
Begin my life anew
Eyes open to other sights.

Place a flower on your grave
Hold to your treasured memory
Precious moments in my heart saved
Days shared by you and me.

Peace takes grief's place
As tears dry in my heart
I surrender to Your Grace
As my life has a new start.
