Verdant Visions
Reminiscences of the emerald isle (Form: Haiku)
Rated:

by
Avg Rating: (11)

Veridian eyes
softly trace the beryl hills.
Moss covered ascents.

Aerugo fields gleam
beneath cerulean skies.
Emerald visions.

Verdant images
rouse ancestral memories;
dreams of Ireland

Notes
Prompt: St. Patrick's Day
All bold words are synonyms for green. I remember landing at Shannon, Ireland, many years ago and I was awestruck by the vibrancy of color. It was the greenest place I have ever seen!

Thank you for taking time to read my words. Please, take a few more moments and leave a comment. Criticism, reactions, even kind words... All are equally welcome!
