BBQ Turkey Pizza

WW POINTS: 5

This recipe makes 1 pizza. The entire pizza is 1 serving!

INGREDIENTS:
1 medium whole wheat tortilla
1 second spray PAM Cooking Spray
1 tbsp Walden Farms Honey Barbeque Sauce*
1/3 cup roasted skinless turkey, chopped or diced
1/8 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup bell pepper
4 slices of tomato
1 cup alfalfa sprouts

*This BBQ sauce comes out to zero points.  If you use a different sauce be sure to calculate those points!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Spray one side of tortilla with cooking spray and place sprayed side up on baking tray. Place under heated broiler until golden browned and crisp. Watch carefully so it doesn't burn.

Turn browned side down and spread top with BBQ sauce. Sprinkle with cheese, turkey, and bell pepper. Top with tomato slices and broil for 1 -2 minutes, until all toppings are hot and cheese is melty.

Top with sprouts and serve immediately.

This recipe is great for left over turkey or chicken. It's even good with ham and pineapple. Experiment with toppings but remember not all toppings will equal the same number of points if you are doing the WW program.

The tortilla crust makes a great size for pizza and it is light but still satisfies the pizza craving. Serve it with a salad or fresh veggies to make it a meal. My husband is diabetic and this knocks out his pizza cravings, too. He has to watch his carb intake because they affect his sugar level and the tortilla crust is only 1 carb serving and it makes a much larger pizza than a single slice of bread!

Somewhere out there you can find tortillas that comee up to zero points.  When I figure out which ones they are I will list the brand name here so you can find them more readily.

ENJOY!!
