" Lake Reflections "

Reflections in a cold Spring lake
on the water's rippled edge.
The picture of a hardwood stand
is mirrored in a wedge.

A narrow strip has thawed it seems
where ice and land have met.
The bright sun light has given me
a view I can't forget.

Then as the camera shutter clicks,
my fascination grows.
A portrait waits where ice has thawed
as Nature strikes a pose.
