I Miss You

I Miss You

I Miss you, friend.
I miss your hugs,
You laugh, your smell.

I miss the way we acted so mentally challenged,
The jokes only we understood.

I miss the way we’d do something stupid,
And we’d laugh for eternities.

I miss the way we’d
Stay up all night
To talk about boys,
And gossip about girls.

I miss the way we shared out tears,
And then we’d make each other laugh
And it was all better.

I miss you friend,
I miss you hugs
Your laugh, your smell.

If only things were like that now,
But we wouldn’t be able to cherish
those almost lost moments,
If you were still by my side.
