Promised Lies
Out beneath a pale lit moon through an Autumns night affair, she lies on a bed of solitude high tides of wild despair. A closed eye weeps of shaking fear from a nights torrential bout, fired up on whiskey coke and beer he'll return through the night no doubt. The spider crawls the snake will hiss upon her mid-night shore. With loving lies and stabbing eyes a poet she adores. The bed reveals a rooms great sigh dark secrets stain the floor. Upon her ear the echos stir of a promise to dance no more. spb.
