FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

For the love of GOD, what next?
Do I forsake all that I have been
And all that I am,
To seek out what it is
I am meant to be,
Simply, for the love of GOD?

For the love of GOD,
No more base and common things.
No more vile beliefs, deeds, desires, or dreams.
No more of that sort of living.
Shrouded in high words and promises
To change my ways, someday, for the love of GOD.

For the love of GOD, I will find a way to turn
Even enemies to allies, in hopes that one
Day, someday, these allies will come to CHRIST.
Longing to make their own, the changes they see
In my life, made by me and in me,
Simply, for the love of GOD.

For the love of GOD,
I want to trade all things,
In exchange for just this one thing,
That is supplanting every other thing, for me.
This most overwhelming desire
For - the LOVE OF GOD!
