A philosophy to help one’s day
Of hard work and unyielding discipline –
Don’t be negative!
Saying “can’t do” and “can’t be” doesn’t help.
Looking over one’s shoulder doesn’t help, either.
Success and its lasting feel
Require both talent and objectivity,
Nursing the fledgling optimism
And willpower to courageously
Pursue a dedicated and promising task.
So relive past glories,
And make fearless inroads
On a future of rewards beckoning...
