THIS FIRST EASTER MORN!
O marvel all, at this rising Of the SON before us. T’was but two days since, We saw with our own eyes, This same SON fall, and Then began a darkness for Us, that seemed to be without end. Heard we not the wicked mocking "believe you still you'll see this SON rising?" And heard we not our Brethren chiding - "what now, Now that our LIGHT has left us, and we are in this dark, Reduced to hiding?" But, O marvel all, Marvel and rejoice. Again, I say rejoice. This same Son that we saw fall, Has risen, and renewed Our world, forevermore. This first Easter morn.
