Inanimate Sorrows
Just a thought about what inanimate objects might be thinking

Inanimate Sorrows

How depressing it would be to be a chair
and never get to go anywhere,
when people get up, they are left all bare,
leaving them without thought or care.

How sad it would be to be a table,
it just sits there, not at all able
to be in any stories featured by fable
wanting to go anywhere, even a stable.

How boring it would be to be a plate
even though it has many a mate
it is only able to rate
what it is given by fate.

How boring, sad and depressing it would be
to be any of these three
with nowhere to go, and no places to see
that is only one opinion, I'm sure they would all disagree.
