The Hedge
Things lurk in the hedge outside my front door they think I don't notice but I know the score They're slimy and scary whatever they are each night they remain they never go far They slink and they scurry through dirt in the dark I sneak up upon them they all whisper "Hark!" "The human approaches our world is at risk be all very silent sink into the mist." "Pretend we're not here she will not persist she'll assume she is crazy we must not exist!"
