I need to make more time in my day for just breathing.

crowd of people
rushing by
I’m just standing
breathing in
and
out.

I go unnoticed
no one cares
I’m bumped
and cursed
“stupid
stupid
girl.”

no one cares
how hard it is
for me to close
my eyes
and breathe
in
and
out.
