My Sunday Friend
This poem is about a friend that I have attended church with as long as I can remember.

There are many things in my life
That have come and gone
Many people have crossed my path
That I have really never known
I have a Sunday Friend
That has been constant true and strong
She is my sister in my heart
And has often shared with me a song
For a Savior that we hold dear
That keeps us safe and strong
We are the branches He is the Vine
In Him we both have grown
Thank you Father for my Sunday Friend
Thank you for our song
Thank you for Your loving care
That helps to make us strong
