Rejoice in the Lord

Risen from an earthly grave
Each sin He took for all to save.
Joining angels for His love to show
Opening eyes, to end man’s woe.
Inviting all to receive one word
Celebrating God’s grace, in passion stirred.
Entering Lent was to give God praise
In solemn prayer for His forty days.
Needing strength to seek His father’s will
Three times bad Satan used his evil skills.
Hope came that day when Jesus won
Ending doom for man as victory begun.
Loud praise we sing on Easter Day
Our faith renewed, as we find our way.
Rejoice, begin to sing out loud.
Delight as Christians, we are so proud.
