The Mystical Forest beckoned me to enter. The leaves on it's trees shimmering as they seemed to wave at me in the breezy sunshine. As I make my way between the blue tinted trunks I listen to the rustling of the leaves that make it sound like the trees are talking to each other. I tred as carefully as I can old leaves crunching under my feet. I trip on a root that just seemed to apear from the dirt at my feet.
'Sorry I did not mean to trip you. I was just stretching my roots.' Came a voice out of nowhere
'What! who's there. Marhak if that you show your face.' I say as I look around trying to place where the voice had come from.
'Sorry if I startled you. Look up and you'll see that I'm the tree.'
'Don't be stupid a tree that talks. Pull the other one.'
'It's true this forest was enchanted by the Dragons when they came here many years ago. Long ago this forest was just a mass of dull ordinary trees, then the Dragons came and gave us sentience.'
'Marhak stop this Charade at once and show yourself.'
'What can I do to show you that it is true. That I am the tree. There is no one here but you and me and the rest of the trees.
'That's right just you and us trees. There's no one else here.'
'OK, OK, I believe you. But that does not mean I'm comfortable with the idea of talking to a tree.'
'That's OK. It is strange for me to be talking to you. We normaly only speek to each other and Fern.'
'So why me? Why now?'
'We have been watching you for a while now.'
