Staring towards saddened nomadic spirits, I move along, hoping to hold the presence of a breeze
For I wish to roam within these dark clouds, comfortable, bathing in their emotion
I move through this eraser rain, yet to the elements I lose no devotion
Wondering if I am my indelible sins or the eraser rain that seems to freeze
Plummeting from the sky, I am nature's eraser, drowning out all other feeling
Crashing down upon the lovers that dance, falling amidst armies who continue their clashing
I drip from the canopies, onto the flames of oblivion, with their desires dealing
For their flames rush through my veins, fire becoming my mindset as I am thrashing
I hold the spirit of fire, resiliently lighting the darker times like the stars
Knowing nothing would confine my soul as long as these flames burn society's bars
I'm finding warmth in that I am this, burning, amorphous mass that revives life
My inner walls unyielding, I become the earth that deals with a tugging strife
Living off what's taken for granted, like a weed, creeping towards sunlight like a vine
Sometimes I grin at humanity, watching as the earthly and divine fleetingly intertwine
After the darkest times the sun still shines, a sign to show how good and bad combine
Here I am, beneath it all, intelligent design, with myself trying to define
Wondering why living is so dire, hoping someone will touch my heart's desire, seeing I am no liar
Helpless but to watch human vultures taking from others, letting the human element add blood to culture
Wandering as a black sheep, forced to weep as the good are in a deep sleep
Truth is blinding and everyone has heartache, but I hope light breaks lies when we all awake
