Bob's Day of Leisure

Gray hair not cut over the ears yet not long enough to touch the lobes of his ears, sixty-five year old Bob wore a mustache to match. Slightly shriveled now, he had been a muscular man back in the day. Big round black eyes set in a round face, surrounded with dark circles above a wide nose revealed he was overdue for some rest.

His job as a law enforcement officer took it's toll and he was bone weary at times. But today he was off. No worries, no pressure, a day to enjoy not having to do anything if he didn't want to. Bob had taken a long, warm shower relaxing all his tense muscles and was now lying in bed under a soft, thick, down comforter with a faded red sheet draped slightly across shoulders. He was propped up on his left arm and elbow enjoying the feel of the support of his gold fluffy pillow behind his back and head. He wore no shirt and only boxer shorts under the soft, cotton sheets that snuggled his body.

With his right arm extended at his side he was holding a well-used pipe in his hand. His pipe and his favorite tobacco were so soothing to him. Velvety smooth and at the same time spicy with a sparkling sweet touch - that's what this blend really was. Sweet matured ready-rubbed Virginia tobacco with a fresh fruit flavor and the same amount of the smoothest and richest Latakia once again matured together under pressure to ensure a complete and harmonious fusion of the different flavor characters. Black Velvet was a slow and evenly burning tobacco with a cool smoke and consistently smooth and full bodied aromatic taste. Its bouquet is pleasantly discreet and kindly accepted even by non-smokers.

The luxury of a good smoke, a day to just lounge while he watched a Charlie Chan movie on television was as good as it gets in today's hectic world. Ahhhhh!
