The train flies
Late it is.
Waiting riders
Tap watches
Impatiently.

Track attendant
Tries calming them.
But it’s thirty
Minutes past due!
They cry.

Finally, they all
Hear its whistle.
Quickly it arrives.
Quickly it leaves,
Never pausing.

Bewildered glances,
Staring after it.
Angry yells at attendant.
Little did they realize
The train had been hijacked!
