It was the first full moon day after her wedding. She was very happy and excited. A strange glow lit her face that made her look vibrant and charming.

Looking at her, John said, “What's the matter? You are so excited today.”

Smiling, Julie replied to her husband, “This is a special day for me, John. And I guess it's time for me to tell you something that I haven't told anyone. Now that you are part of  my life, it would be unfair having secrets between us.”

John asked curiously, “What is it Julie?” and said in an assuring tone, “You can tell me anything. I am always there for you, my dear.”

Julie said holding John's hand, “As you know, I lost my parents in a car accident when I was seven. I moved in with my aunt and lived with her until I was eighteen years old. I missed my parents so much that I could not return to normal life immediately after the dreadful incident.”

Julie wiped her tears continued in a low voice...

“It was 20 years back (one month after the tragedy) when this miracle happened in my life. One lonely night, I was looking at the beautiful moon, which reminded me of the happy days, through my bedroom window missing my parents, with lots of questions in mind about my cursed life.

Crying the whole night I fell asleep. In my dream,  an angel appeared, woke me up and said that on the first full moon every spring I would be able to see my parents on the moon! When I woke up in the morning, I felt the dream was real and when I saw the calendar to my surprise, it was the first full moon day of the spring. Eagerly waiting for the night to come, I was anxious to see... if the dream would come true. Somewhere deep in my heart, I felt this was real. The moon was shining bright and the silver rays reached my room. I was nervous and happy all at the same time. I went near the window and looked at the full moon. My parents appeared for a second, with the same old warm smile on their faces which was equal to a thousand smiles. It was as though they showered their blessings on me which kept me going in life. This moment gave me the strength to live a normal successful life and to achieve what I am today. I spent my days waiting for the next spring. And now I am 27,  they'll be glad to see me married and in safe hands, John!”

John with tears in his eyes said, “Julie, my love, you have gone through so much in life. But I am proud to have a wife blessed by an angel. This means that God is always there with you. And I promise to keep you happy forever, sweetheart.”

Julie felt something about his words which reminded of her father's words. Hugging John she thanked him for his unconditional love.

Both spent the day talking about the past. Julie told John every little thing in her life, the sad and happy moments. Respect for Julie grew in John's eyes and he said to himself that he would never allow a drop of tear in Julie's eyes for any reason.

The night was elegant and divine. Both were sitting quietly waiting for the blessed moment. But Julie did not see anything. They waited and waited till dawn and to Julie's disappointment her parents did not appear for the first time in twenty years. With a broken heart and watering eyes she dozed off on the couch. In her dream; The same angel appeared and said;

“My dear child, I know that you are confused  about something that has not happened so far. Julie, God sent you love through me so many years because he never leaves anyone alone in this world. Now that you are surrounded by love and care it is time for you to see and identify the valuable love around you rather than searching it from nowhere. Your parent's blessings and love will shadow you till end. Don't forget to embrace the gift of love from your dear and near ones.”

It was a new morning, when Julie opened her eyes she saw John standing with a cup of coffee. Smiling John handed the cup and said in a consoling voice, “Don't worry, Julie, there is always a good  reason for anything that happens in this world. I am here to give you all my joy and share your sorrows.”

Julie looked into John's eyes and realized the truth of the dream. She saw her loving parents in John's eyes and words. Julie lived a happy and contented life with John thereafter.
