The Night Mare
The night was dark, I felt all alone My brother and sisters were not at home I went sound asleep, snuggled in my bed Before long monsters surrounded my head I slipped from my bed and went to the door I called for my dad in a low roar What is the matter, is what he said I had a nightmare; I can’t stay in my bed There is nothing to fear, my sweet little girl Feed your night mare some hay And it will bother you no more
