THIS BROKEN HEART: an acrostic
Though you may not remember How you have bled my heart, I am just not going to Show you my gaping wounds. Before you attacked me and Rendered me heartbroken, Only love and bliss I had Known ever in my life. Even though I loved you hard, Never shall I regret Having turned my back on you; Enraged so much I felt. Although I cry, yet I will Remember you ever. This I’ll forget never. *Written in 7-6-7-6 format. The end tercet is 7-6-6. *An acrostic built on “This broken heart”, written for the “A Broken Heart Poetry Contest”, "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 11 April 2009
