Spring Ritual

Ahhhh-chooo!
I welcome Spring
anew.

Each year
as florets bloom,
eyes tear.

So goes
the rite - and my
red nose!

Notes

Day 4 entry in "Rhythm & Rhyme Poetry Challenge [E]

Prompt: Image
Form: Musette
The Musette is a poem that consists of three verses of three lines each. The first lines have two syllables; the second lines have four syllables, and the third lines have two syllables. The rhyme scheme is a/b/a for the first verse; c/d/c for the second verse, and e/f/e for the third verse. The title should reflect the poem's content.

The dandelion head is actually composed of florets, each of which becomes a seed when it matures into its "wishie" form (No, *Laugh* I'm not making that up – that's what it's called!)

Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even praise *Smile* - are all equally welcome.
