Smile

They ripped her skin

And cried for her blood

But she smiled

Only smiled

And the blood did run

It stained the ground

They laughed at the tears

that mixed with the red

But she smiled

Only smiled

They ridiculed her

Calling her names

Chilling, soul killing names

They ripped out her heart

And stabbed it

Once

Twice

Too long to count

Still she smiled

Always smiled

Her heart grew cold

Her flesh and heart did heal

But the hatred took over

Where love once lived

She stopped smiling

And one day it stopped

It all stopped

And she wiped off the blood

That was not hers

Tasted the hatred

That once belonged to them

And she smiled

Only smiled
