From Sun Up to Sun Down
Day 5 Rythm and Rhyme

From sun up to sun down,
A farmer’s work is never done.
The fields are calling, hear the sound?

Man or boy, all can be found,
Working hard, in the hot sun,
From sun up to sun down,

Coverall, straw hat, and boot--never seen an evening gown.
No one said farm life would be fun.
The fields are calling, hear the sound?

Work fast to get the cattle bound.
Before over the hill they get and you have none.
From sun up to sun down,

Playtime is only for the hound,
Who’s still asleep when your day has begun?
The fields are calling, hear the sound?

Working hard to support this small ghost town.
It's not must of a life, but it's a prize won.
From sun up to sun down,
The fields are calling, hear the sound?
