You came in during the dark of night, You saw me, but kept yourself out of sight. You took it upon yourself to do me a favor, When I woke up, a present did I savor. I wanted to thank you, but you weren’t there, I sat thinking, and an idea floated into the air. So I wrote you this poem that is true And now all that is left, is for me to thank you.
