Red and blue dots on a dainty dress;
eyes a hue of blue from the candles, flickering on her birthday cake; laughing loudly! "Daddy I did it in one breath, the right way to blow out the candles." The sad memories of yesterday; my child the teenager, wanting to be alone; running away from me, where I lost her that day. Eighteen months later, in the mail; a letter scribbled in ink, mixed with tears, splashed dry on the page, begging me! “Dad, will you come and save me? I have no food for my baby in this lonely room. A door to hell, in New Jersey.” I fell to my knees begging for God’s mercy! "Help me find her and the baby; with candles on a cake that I baked, to blow away their tears and fears of failure? A new life waiting, with tender words to forgive her."
