Forgotten
Day 7 Rhythm and Rhyme

Dried out, left to die
You wither away--forgotten
Hidden within the backyard
You were once so beautiful

You wither away--forgotten
A distant memory to all
Once you held stunning flowers
Sprouting from every direction

Hidden within the backyeard
You sit in your resting place
A personal burial ground
Unnoticed to those who pass

You were once so beautiful
Full of flowers from Mom's garden
But, with Mom gone you stand alone
Barren from color you shall remain
