Locked Dream

The abandoned have no where to run
Silent tears roll without end for some.
Strong wills broken hum sorrow's song
Confused by this hand cruel to everyone.
Humility shames innocent beautiful hair,
Love vanished left hope, spirit in despair
Impaled to remember this childhood life
It severed dreams in color with vivid light
Nightmares of suffocation visit every night
Wishes diminished no placement to belong
The painted walls cover secrets and screams
Lives of empty lived without their key
Cruelty locked away chance of treasured dreams
