HELEN OF A VISION

HELEN OF A VISION

I’ve been thinking about
restless awakenings...of love without
of the day I heal
of holding you close.

Until then,

Engagements of dreams privy will I share
of orange kisses dipped in powered whispers
between the heated archways of simmering nights
and upon on me...the tributaries feeding into your love.

My Spring of Visions
rests barefoot, toeing sprinkles of silver; puddled rain
embraces tasted for hours as lips sound out...your name
tomorrow's melt.

These words mine, a melody loosened by
a song, shapley within
about beginnings continued
over again.

I say!

Break me with your tears,
trust with your need;
in your pain
I will continually bleed.

To rise upon your voice,
enflamed as your desire;
"Achilles, my Helen"
hoplon and xiphos transpire.

Before you and genuflect
humility yoked, hubris manumit
that I may always reflect
your love.
