Pillar Box
This was my first attempt at writing anything. The first line came to me on my way home.

I found you standing in front of the pillar box and took pity.

You cried.

We went home.  I did my best for you.

We had fun.  You smiled and laughed.

I returned you to the place where you belong.

You kissed my cheek and touched my hand.

I closed the door
