MAGNUM OPUS – The original!

Let US make our MAGNUM OPUS
To replace the Ones who have fallen.
Let all be tested with joys and sorrows,
Until the lost stand apart from the chosen.

Let all demonstrate by words and deeds,
What loves is and what it means.
Forsaking all others, for love of self.
Or, forsaking self, for a greater wealth.

At the end then, each may know
Each has reaped the harvest sown.
Some to everlasting, incomprehensible elation.
Some to unending, unbearable damnation.

So now, let US make our MAGNUM OPUS
And let US call them - Man!
