![]() Mother Earth-Earth Day Remember in days of old
of stories you were told. Air that was very clean pollution wasn't to be seen. Showing respect to all things Sky, land, animals, human beings. Mother Earth she was so green A vast array of beauty to be seen. Respecting the land we live upon not destroying anything thereon. Only taking things we needed to live planting a tree in return we'd give. What happened to us along the way? We turned the sky a dingy gray. The streets, land are littered with trash All the beauty of this land, gone in a flash. We have come full circle on this Earth Day Help keep our land green, this I pray.
