Encouragement or Judgment?

WHY AREN’T YOU THERE YET?

Why would you think the pain would not come?
Why can you not allow me that?
How could it be all gone?
In the telling, can healing not be if the memory remains?

You say, “I didn’t know you still had that.”
But why would it not be,
It has been such a part of me!

The healing IS, the healing in me
God moved…God Saved…and preserved what I could not
He has kept my soul…safe in His Hands
Why would you not allow what He sees so clearly
Why would you question me so?
Why do you judge what you do not know?

Leave me…leave me to what I must…

No…I am not there yet
But please! Look…
Look where I have been

You can not walk the same path as I
You can not be the place God has taken me
You can not know the sight…the sound of the pain

Only He knows truly how far it is
From the “where I have been”
To the place of my life, you say,
“I didn’t know you had those feelings today”

Please don’t try, to take away…do not disqualify my healing…
You just don’t know and be thankful for that
The road I have traveled is alone
The path I have taken…the steps lead down,
To the winding trail
To choices I have made…the good the bad…

Oh how they are littered with the tears of a broken life
But the healing has been
Although not complete

Yes, I have a long way to go…
But please! I beg of you…
Listen…Look to where I have been
Look how far I have already come!
