...and the cow jumped over the moon

There once were some worms who ate books,
eating and thriving amongst crooks.

With chatty beguile and quick smile,
stealing went unseen for awhile.

When the pages started to turn,
pressured owners began to burn.

Dying worms crawled out of the store,
thieving clerks lost patrons and more.
