ANSWERS TO DISCUSSION TOPICS

I have kept a diary or journal since I was 8. My mother aspired to be a writer, so writing has been in my life for a long time. I was adopted; the influence is environmental rather than genetic. (Maybe that's where the poor typing comes from!!) For as long as I can remember, I've written stuff down--I've even declared "out of book" experiences ever since law schook, where I would tear pages from my notebook and journal if the lecture were boring! I never got caught; my neighbors were usually sleeping. I do not blog yet. I am sure that I will. The blog is public but i have no secrets--I am just not computer-savvy enough to handle a blog. WDC tests my abilities to the max right now!! I don't yet come up with short story ideas; my poetry ideas come from my life experences. I will be 50 this summer; I believe I will have accumulated sufficient life experiences to fuel poetry, stories, memoir, and everything else.
