Oh deer, Oh deer, I think I'm starting to fear, All the things that go bump in the night, Always give me, Oh! Such a fright, Oh deer! They say I'm overbearing, But I just can't help but caring, About the things that I hear, ... Oh deer! My brother gave me quite a scare, When he decided to pull my hare, So I decided to get him back, I would hide his favorite hackie-sack, Oh deer! I was playing ball one day, At the park with my friends, I never knew what I'd have to pay, Otherwise I would've made amends, I hit the ball and heard a smack, As it went through the windshield of an old cadillac, Oh deer! A man ran out and said that was his car, And he demanded money, When we laughed he had to ask, "Now what's so dog-on funny?" Sorry I said, And truly I was, But off like a bee, He started to buzz, "Your parents will hear about this", He said, Then ran off in a huff, My friends kept laughing, So I had to silence them with a call of, "Now that's enough!" Who was going to pay? For all this monkeying around, I didn't know where the answer could possibly be found, So I went to my mother, Who was out churning butter, And told her what was happening, She payed the man back, Returned my brothers hackie-sack, And then she turned on me, "If you aren't going to fix it, Then don't you go break it, And then come running to me, If you'll spend my money, Then do be a honey, And stop bugging me!" Oh deer!
