Desperation

I struggle so to find the words,
they hide inside of me.
What do I say to pave the way,
to make it all okay?

I"m lost at times when I write,
my words are at a loss.
My flow is off, I'm to uptight,
I care not for the cost.

It pains me to care so much,
my heart is beating fast.
I fear I cannot stay in touch,
I fear our love won"t last.

I cannot change I must be me,
Just as you are you.
I only wish that you could see,
what you do to me!
