Graduation Day

Today is a special day;
You are truly on your way
To use all the knowledge gained,
Each moment spent so wisely framed.

I wish you luck in all you do,
All that's good and right for you,
Seize this day with all it's power ,
Accomplishments of all the hours.

Each day a new road you see,
To bring knowledge constantly;
Know that you have done your best
Be proud of where you are on your quest.

So on this day of perfect light
See your future glow so very bright,
Know there's a world for you to see,
A place that holds you sacredly.

The world sees a young woman,
But behind that young woman,
With such a precious smile,
I see my small child.

Young woman, my daughter
You've now reached one school end
My joy and my heart,
Understand it is only the start,

Everyone needs a reason to be-
You have always been that for me;
Today is no different-
Always know you are a gift God sent.

I am proud of who you are
I have faith you will go far
Because you used talents God reserved
Your graduation is well deserved.
