The Pipe’s Cry
The pipe’s drone rests on the walls of souls Their haunting cries beckon the winds Lightly piercing they heed the call Slowly, slowly the march begins A cadence pulse marks well the path The fairest veiled dark from the light Through darkness tears find solemn ground Departed soul seeks endless flight
